Dr. Glenn Sandler is a graduate of Colgate University and the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his surgical training at the Albert Einstein Medical Center and entered surgical practice in 1995.

Dr. Sandler has been Chairman of the Department of Surgery as well as Chief of General Surgery at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. In addition to his hospital leadership positions, he is medical director of the Montgomery Surgical Center, a 4 room surgery center in Rockville, Maryland.

Dr. Sandler has a strong interest in advanced laparoscopic surgery, gallbladder surgery and hernia surgery. He has taught techniques in laparoscopic surgery and hernia repair throughout the country.

Since 2006 Dr. Sandler has participated in surgical missions to San Pedro Sula and Comayagua, Honduras providing surgical care to the indigent communities of Central America. When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Sandler spends time with his wife and daughter.
