Dr. Glenn Sandler is a graduate of Colgate University and the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his surgical training at the Albert Einstein Medical Center and entered surgical practice in 1995.
Dr. Sandler has been Chairman of the department of Surgery as well as Chief of General Surgery at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital.
Dr. Sandler has a strong interest in advanced laparoscopic surgery, gallbladder surgery and hernia surgery. He has taught techniques in laparoscopic surgery and currently teaches the technique of the Kugel hernia repair to practicing surgeons throughout the country.
Since 2006 Dr. Sandler has participated in surgical missions to San Pedro Sula and Comayagua, Honduras providing surgical care to the indigent communities of Central America. He has been consistently named as one of the area’s Outstanding General Surgeons by the Washingtonian Magazine as well as by the Consumer Checkbook. When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Sandler spends time with his wife and daughter.
